[00:00:00] Let's go cook. I what comes, but I, I refuse fear. My, my away from the pain. This feeling brand new. This is the moment to breakthrough.
Welcome to 10 Minute masterclass. I'm your host, Trey Sheneman, and it's our goal each week to help you learn timeless business principles that will help you solve today's business problems. We call it your Weekly Mitra for Business Growth. Now, on today's episode, we're taking you a different approach and officially calling it a wrap on season one.
And wow, what a season it's been. Thanks to you, the listeners. We've crossed over the 85,000 download mark, and we broke into the top 50 podcasts in the entrepreneur category. That's incredible. Thank you so much. The momentum here is insane, and I'm so grateful for your support. Over the past few [00:01:00] months, we've unpacked lessons in marketing, sales, operations, and leadership, what we call the core four drivers of growth.
But today, I wanna wrap it all up and leave you with one big idea. It's the idea that changed my business, and it's the heart of my new book that's coming out in October, and it's the framework that I believe every founder needs if they wanna grow with clarity, momentum. My book is called the Compass Method.
The Compass Method is the operating system for growth that I wish I had 15 years ago when I started in this industry. And today I want to give you a sneak peek into one of its most powerful concepts, the five A flywheel. See most businesses run on funnels, funnels, extract attention, push people down a narrow path and spit out buyers at the bottom.
But here's the problem, funnels leak. Every stage loses energy. Every campaign eventually burns out. That's why years ago I stopped building funnels and started spinning flywheels. And the five A flywheel is built on that concept. It's five stages. Each one [00:02:00] creates momentum for the next. Stage one is awareness, which is not about shouting louder.
It's about being visible to the right people. Stage two is attraction. Moving beyond recognition to creating real interest. This is when your value propositions in the stories you tell have to shine. Third is acquisition, which is when you convert interest into their first commitment. In the flywheel.
This isn't the finish line. Unlike the funnel, it's actually the midpoint. Step four is activation. This is the most overlooked stage. This is when if someone buys and never experiences your value, they don't use your product. You didn't actually gain a customer, you just wasted money. Activation is where retention has to begin.
Step five is advocacy is where you turn happy, activated customers into evangelists. Their reviews, their referrals, their word of mouth actually loops right back and creates awareness for you, which is what spins the flywheel and it's gonna spin it more powerfully than any ad campaign. See, here's the difference.
Funnels ended acquisition, the Five A flywheel really begins at acquisition. It turns happy customers [00:03:00] into prospect creators, which makes you have momentum. That compounds This framework is the entire point for me. It moved me from. Thinking about short term tactics into long term systems. And these, exactly what I unpack in my book, the Compass Method.
I'm gonna show you not just what the flywheel is about, how to diagnose, where yours is, where it's stuck, and how to get it spending faster. So lemme talk straight with you for a minute. This podcast has always been about giving you clear, actionable tools for growth, and I've poured the very best of those tools into my new book, the Compass Method.
It's coming out in hardback this October paper back in January. I'd love for you to be a part of the team that helps launch this book to the world. So here's what that means. If you join the launch list, you're gonna get early access to the book before anyone else for free. You're gonna get behind the scenes updates from me as we we prepare for the launch, and you'll get invited to a couple of exclusive Q and A sessions with me where I'm gonna go over the deeper frameworks and how to apply them to your business.
And in return for getting the book for free and joining the launch team. What I'm asking for is really two things. [00:04:00] Number one, read the book. Number two, help me spread the word. That might mean leaving a review around launch day or sharing a post about it, or telling a friend whatever feels natural to you.
If you've gotten any value from this podcast, please consider joining the launch team. That would be the best way you can say thank you to me and also help me multiply the impact of these ideas. Here's how you do it. I want you to head over to www.thecompassmethodbook.com right now and sign up. You'll be in, it'll take you less than a minute.
Again, that's www.thecompassmethodbook.com. Go sign up and please help me steward this message. I would love nothing else for you to join the launch team to help us get the word out there. Now, back to where we were headed with the podcast. This is the end of season one. Season one was all about laying the foundation, sharing the hard lessons that I've learned along the way so that they can help you avoid some of the mistakes I made.
Season two is gonna be about multiplying voices. I'm going to be interviewing leaders in my network. Some of the greatest minds I know in sales, marketing, leadership, and operations. That is [00:05:00] gonna come out later on in Q4 of 2025. I'm actually setting up to do the first couple of interviews. Now. You're gonna see the format's gonna change a little bit.
They won't be in the studio every single time. They might be in on site, in person. They might be on Zoom based on people's schedules. But I'm excited to feature these great minds that I know, like, and trust that I follow. When I get stuck and I get hung up, people that I seek out for those opinions. So hopefully you've got great value out of what I brought to the table in season one, and you'll stick with us into season two and beyond as we change the scope a little bit.
But the end game is still gonna be the end game. Weekly mic drops for your business growth based on the core four drivers. That is always what growth comes down to. Thank you so much for being with us on the journey. I really hope you'll consider joining the launch team. And until next time, I'll see you on the flip side.
